We have to hand it to the Shetty family for keeping this wedding away from media eyes and also having a fairly low key wedding... compared to other big Bollywood families. Let's talk about that bridal lengha that Athiya wore!
We've been seeing a lot of white, off white and lighter pastel tones this season for many celeb weddings and Athiya also chose to stray away from the traditional red and go for vintage vibes with a light pink lehenga designed by Anamika Khanna.
Anamika Khanna did an interview with Vogue India and had this to say about the bridal lehenga created for Athiya Shetty:
"We created an extremely fine piece of Chikankari, as well as jaali ka kaam and Zardozi. In terms of the colour, it is an old-rose colour and even the metallic colours that we’ve used on the lehenga, is slightly burnt and old-world. It’s got that subtlety to it. Nothing is screaming for attention, and yet, it's just so her. Safe to say that it is not an outfit she will get bored of even in the coming years."
Athiya Shetty and Indian cricketer, KL Rahul, tied the knot at the Shetty's farmhouse in Khandala. The wedding affair itself was pretty hush hush and away from the spotlight. Here are some gorgeous pictures below of their intimate wedding:
